Internal tools
Access is restricted to authorised NCRO staff and partners. Every tool runs in your browser and uses NCRO's own gene, pricing and reference data. Designs are starting points: verify primers in silico and validate them in the wet lab before use.
A guided workflow that turns "what do you need to test?" into an itemized, priced NGS, PCR or Sanger order. There are three ways in (by target, by application or by technique) plus a quick route for Sanger or PCR of specific exons, where you click the exact exons on a map and see the amplicon count before continuing.
Pick targets by clinical application in the Target Planner (NCCN oncology panels, β-thalassaemia, CFTR, hereditary breast cancer, pharmacogenomics, PIK3CA/KRAS hotspot assays), then design Sanger, NGS amplicon, HRM or ARMS primers. Includes SNP-under-primer and genome-wide specificity checks.
Conventional and TaqMan primer/probe design for meat and seafood species identification and adulteration panels. It fetches reference sequences, designs, cross-checks and pools multiplexes automatically.
Build a cell-based potency testing workflow, with costing, for a biologic or biosimilar.
Align Sanger reads or references. Load an exon straight from hg38, align forward and reverse reads (auto-orientation), and get a list of differences, including heterozygous calls, in genomic coordinates.
